We had the pleasure of attending the rare Ferrari Corsa Clienti event at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in May of 2026. This event is a Ferrari Factory event for owners of rare and special racing Ferraris including FXX, 599XX, FXX-K, FXX-K Evo and vintage Formula One cars. A total of five single-seater F1 cars were in attendance, among them was the former Eddie Irvine F300, both Rubens Barichello’s and Michael Schumacher’s F2003-Gas, Fernando Alonso’s F10 and the famous F2004 by the Master Schumacher. There were eighteen incredible 499Ps and twenty-six cars in the FXX Programme. It was fantastic to see the 499Ps first visit to Road Atlanta!

Corsa Clienti has many specific programs to assist owners of historic Ferrari racing car. These are XX Programme which include the amazing 599XX, FXX, FXX Evo, FXX-K and FXX-K Evo.

Per Ferrari.com “The XX Programme is the perfect synthesis of Ferrari’s customer-centric philosophy, making the customers the leading players in a unique dialogue with the manufacturer. It is synonymous with technological progress and uncompromising performance on the best tracks on the planet with special cars that are as unique as their owners. On-track thrills and memorable off-track experiences help the Programme’s customers forge an even stronger bond with Ferrari.”

The next program offered by Ferrari is the F1 Clienti. To see and hear these cars is absolutely astounding. Seeing and hearing Ferrari Formula One cars is something not to be missed. The sounds are remarkable, but you should definitely bring hearing protection. They are extremely LOUD! Quite the opposite of the Ferrari 499Ps, they are subdued and much less noisy than the F1 cars and the FXX cars. The 499Ps are quieter due to the turbocharging because the turbos act as a “muffler”.

For those lucky enough to own a vintage Formula One Ferrari, the factory said, "Just a few get to realize the dream of driving the single seaters that have made the history of the only manufacturer to have competed in every Formula 1 season. The third program Ferraris offers is the Sport Prototipi Clienti. “Unveiled during the Finali Mondiali 2023 at the Mugello International Circuit, alongside the Ferrari 499P Modificata (which will be its first protagonist), the Sport Prototipi Clienti is an exclusive programme designed to enable owners of the 499P-derived model – winner of the Centenary 24 Hours of Le Mans – to take part in unique non-competitive events.

The 499P Modificata is a track car equipped with a hybrid powertrain, in a strictly limited series, designed for a select client audience.”

FML had some technical equipment and were able to record 125 decibels from the F2004 car on the back straight! I also had a Bushell Radar gun and was clocking the 499P Sports Prototype cars on the back straight at 186mph!

Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta is one of my favorite racetracks because it is close to where I live. I’ve been attending race events at Road Atlanta since 1986. The Walter Mitty Challenge, IMSA, HSR, SVRA, Petit Le Mans and many more. I’ve been lucky enough to have been able to drive the track in a bunch of cool cars; MGB GT, original Mini Cooper, Ferrari 308 GTS, Ferrari Mondial QV Cabriolet, McLaren 650S, Mercedes E55 AMG, Porsche 944 Turbo and many more.
