    275 GTS, S/N 7767 (1965). Blu Ferrari with tobacco interior. Estimate $1.65 million to $1.95 million. Completed at Maranello August 1965. Originally finished in Argento with interior in Nero Franzi black leather. Optional hard top, as sold with the car today. Chinetti sold new to its first owner in November 1965. By 1972, the car was owned in Houston, Texas, before being acquired by Mr. Charles H. Noble, Jr of San Antonio, Texas, who would keep it the next 33 years. Sold in 2012 to a collector in Ohio. Restored at Motion Products during 2017 and 2018. Painted Blu Ferrari, the dark blue color seen on the car today. Trimmed in Tobacco leather hides, Wilton carpet in dark blue, dark blue convertible top. North Coast Exotics would take on the mechanical aspects of the restoration. A period-correct 6-carburetor set up was fitted. The original Weber 40DCZ6 3-carburetor is offered along with the car. 44,975 original miles. Original tool kit, jack, owner’s manual, Borrani wire wheels and Michelin XWX tires. Lot 130. Sold for $1.6 million.

 

 

    330 GTC, S/N 9711 (1967). Ivory with beige interior. Estimate $600,000 to $700,000. Completed in March 1967, originally finished in Verde Scuro with beige scuro leather interior. Delivered to dealer Crepaldi and sold to first owner in April of 1967. Sold in March 1971 to the second owner in Milan. In May 1971 the car was sold to its third owner, a New Yorker residing in Milan. In June 1971 the car was exported to the USA. Repainted in ivory and partly retrimmed at some stage during the following decade. Kept in the New York area during the 1970s and early 1980s and was offered for sale in April 1985. Restored in 1988, before selling to La Jolla, California. Sold to a Canadian in early 2003. Unfortunately, he passed away and his widow stored it for over two decades. Purchased by the consignor in early 2022 and imported back to California. Recent full service and a fresh set of Michelin XWX tires. Owner’s manuals. Lot 166. Not sold at $550,000 high bid.

 

 

    812 GTS, VIN ZFF97CMA8M0267739 (2021). Grigio GTS with cuoio interior. Estimate $680,000 to $750,000. Delivery mileage only, 227 miles. Equipped with more than $140,000 in options included on the original window sticker. Clear protective wrap covers the nose, doors, and rocker panels. Custom radar detector and jammer using military grade technology has been hardwired. Wheels are forged diamond. Adaptive front lights, rear radar, yellow calipers, titanium exhaust pipes, electric suspension lift and several carbon fiber trim pieces. Cavallino stitched headrests, a leather covered center tunnel, full electric seats, and a passenger display screen. Offered by its original owner. Original documentation, books, tools, and other accessories. Lot 134. Not sold at $595,000 high bid.

 

 

    360 MODENA, VIN ZFFYU51A6Y0122435 (2000). Blu Tour de France with cuoio interior. Estimate $150,000 to $175,000. The first owner would take possession in Southern California, January 2001 and appears to have kept it for about a year. The Carfax report on file documents further ownership until this day, along with service/maintenance performed and milage recordings. Today, it presents in original and well-kept condition. 25,300 miles. Excellent fit and finish, and the interior shows light signs of use. Comprehensive service recently performed, with new Michelin tires along with a full vehicle detail. Complete with books in leather pouch and tools. Lot 206. Not sold at $120,000 high bid.

 


    488 PISTA, VIN ZFF90HLA2K0241461 (2019). Rosso corsa with cuoio interior. Estimate $500,000 to $600,000. Over $100,000 in options, carbon fiber upgrades, adjustable suspension, and Tailor Made options that included Daytona racing seats in cuoio with Blu Sterling center stripes and a fire extinguisher. First registered in January 2019, regularly serviced. 2,259 miles. Copy of original window sticker, books, small tool roll, and charger. Lot 174. Not sold at $470,000 high bid.

 

 

 

RM Sotheby’s - Arizona Sale

    500 SUPERFAST, S/N 8565 SF (1966). Dark blue with cognac interior. Estimate $2.2 million to $2.8 million. The 34th of 36 total examples built. Air conditioning, power windows, and power steering. Originally finished in Blu Sera with Grigio Vaumol leather from Connolly. Completed April 1966 and sold new to John von Neumann. In April 1973 it was purchased by Charlie Hayes. He soon advertised the 500 in Road & Track magazine. In 1979 the Ferrari was acquired by Charles Borin of California, and he repainted the car red and reupholstered the interior in tan leather. Borin retained possession for 12 years before the car passed to Ed Waterman of Florida.  In 1993, the Ferrari’s original engine was reinstalled. A full restoration was conducted at this time, including a repaint in dark blue and the interior with cognac leather. Sold in 2002 to Seattle, Washington, and displayed at the 2003 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, winning the Ferrari class. In January 2004, it was sold to New Hampshire. Presented at the 2005 Pebble Beach Concours where it scored 95 out of 100 points. Later in 2006, it was treated to a refurbishment by Paul Russell and Company. In September 2008, it was sold to Oregon. Offered at RM Sotheby’s Monterey sale in August 2010. Acquired by the consignor later that year, the Superfast has been driven very little since. It should be noted that the paintwork has considerably aged since the 2006 restoration and in some areas displays lifting and crazing. Lot 160. Sold for $2.23 million.

 

 

    275 GTB/4, S/N 10325 (1967). Grigio Argento with nero leather. Estimate $3 million to $3.5 million. Instruments in miles, power windows and full leather seats. Sold new through Luigi Chinetti Motors in September 1967. Purchased by Barnett Sumski, he bought the car with the intention of using it for European touring, as it was immediately registered with Italian tourist plates. Serviced soon thereafter by Assistenza Clienti in Modena before being exported in October 1967. In December 1967, Mr. Sumski sold to its second owner in San Leandro, California. He kept the 4-cam about a year before selling it to Modern Classic Motors in Reno, Nevada. In 1971, it was acquired by Wade Carter Volkswagen in Seattle, Washington. Mr. Carter retained possession for many decades. Following his passing his family kept the Ferrari for another 15 years before offering it for sale in March 2016, a period of almost 45 years of single-family ownership. In preparation for the 2016 offering, the car was serviced. The wire wheels were reconditioned. By the end of 2016, it was acquired by the consignor. In July 2017, the engine was rebuilt according to invoice on file. Lot 132. Sold for $3.36 million.

 

 

    365 GTB/4, S/N 14207 (1971). Rosso Chiaro with nero leather. Estimate $550,000 to $600,000. Factory equipped with air conditioning, power windows, and Borrani wire wheels. In May 1971 it was distributed to Modern Classic Motors in Reno, Nevada, Later that year sold to its first owner, Theodore Day, who kept the car for a period of 46 years. Accruing only modest mileage over the years, with a reading of 29,090 miles in July 2017. Offered during The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering, in August 2017, it was sold to its second owner. Today this Daytona presents as largely original while benefitting from a repaint in Rosso Chiaro. Mounted with Cromodora alloy wheels, a set of Borrani wire wheels are also included. 29,146 miles. Tool roll and owner’s manuals, SEFAC paperwork, registrations dating from 1971 to 1989, service invoices, and the Massini history. Lot 129. Sold for $665,000.

 

 

    F512 M, VIN ZFFVG40AXS0100483 (1995). Canna di Fucile with beige leather. Estimate $625,000 to  $700,000. Delivered new to Ferrari of Denver on 26 August 1996. This three-part color combination was only furnished on one other F512 M. After passing through collections in New Jersey, Oregon, and Florida, by July 2007 it had been acquired by a collector in California, showing nearly 8,500 miles. In June 2011, it was sold to vintage racer Juan Barazi. At the time of his acquisition, it had approximately 12,500 miles. Over the next three years, Barazi added nearly 1,500 miles to the car while having it maintained by Ferrari of San Diego. Barazi sold in July 2014, and it has remained in the consignor’s care since August 2015. In preparation for sale, a complete major engine-out servicing, which included belt and pulley service, spark plug replacement, fluid flush, and new filters. Lot 124. Sold for $681,500.

 


    599 GTO, VIN ZFF70RCA8B0175964 (2011). Argento Nürburgring with black Alcantara. Estimate $850,000 to $950,000. Carbon trim and special stitching, Scuderia shields, white-faced tachometer, black racing stripes, full-power electric seats, and a Bose audio system. Additional options include aluminum-colored brake calipers, a fire extinguisher, carbon fiber trim on the door sills and rear bench, as well as other special options. Certified by Classiche in October 2010. Delivered new to Boardwalk Ferrari of Plano, Texas. The consignor purchased the car from Ferrari of Houston in November 2016. Maintenance invoices on file. Within the last 200 miles, Ferrari of Houston completed a routine two-year major service and fitted new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. 3,175 miles. Manuals, tools, service invoices, Red Book from Ferrari Classiche, and a copy of its original window sticker. Lot 174. Sold for $863,000.

 


    LAFERRARI, VIN ZFF76ZFA2E0207435 (2014). Blu Elettrico with crema leather. Estimate $4 million to $4.5 million. Ordered new by Greg Whitten via Ferrari of Seattle, Washington. It is the sole LaFerrari produced in this color combination. Delivered new in December 2014. Magnesium gray wheels, black calipers, glossy black roof, and headrests embroidered with Cavallinos. Acquired by the consignor in September 2021. 3,186 miles. Classiche recently issued a Yellow Book which is en route from Maranello and will accompany the sale. Lot 141. Sold for $4 million.

 

 

    F12TDF, VIN ZFF81BFA3H0224694 (2017). Rosso Scuderia with red and black leather. Estimate $1.1 million to $1.3 million. Daytona style seats. Extensive carbon fiber inside and out. Carbon fiber engine covers, air-filter box covers, fog light and headlamp buckets, floor plates, rear shelf, and bench. Other options include full luggage set of hard and soft cases, AFS adaptive headlamps, Apple CarPlay compatibility, leather-trimmed transmission tunnel, colored seatbelts, and gold brake calipers. Within the last two years, oil and brake fluid changed and air conditioning serviced by Ferrari. In July of 2022, the same Ferrari dealer installed Michelin Pilot Sport tires and a new battery. Invoices are included. Lot 121. Sold for $1.24 million.

 

 

    F40, VIN ZFFGJ34B000094277 (1992). Rosso corsa with black and red interior. Estimate $2.2 million to $2.8 million. Completed in July 1992, originally ordered by Charles Pozzi’s Ferrari West Europe SA in Paris, sold new in September 1992 to Germany. It remained in Germany through the mid-1990s before being exported to Japan by April 1997. Invoices from September 2012 to November 2020 reflect maintenance and minimal driving time in Japan. A September 2018 service included timing belts and in December 2018 fuel tanks were disassembled and cleaned and tank sponges replaced. The F40 was imported by the consignor to the United States and in December 2022 the car was treated to a full service from Ferrari of Newport Beach. Accompanied by tool roll and owner’s manuals, export paperwork, and Japanese service invoices (including English translations). 19,697 kilometers (12,239 miles). Lot 158. Sold for $2.15 million.

 


    430 SCUDERIA, VIN ZFFKW64A190169200 (2009). Nero with nero interior. Estimate $500,000 to $750,000. Delivered new to Ferrari of Beverly Hills. According to the window sticker, options include BATA upholstery, yellow brake calipers, Alcantara upholstery, period Ferrari iPod connectivity, a racing stripe, special features, and tone-on-tone stitching. Driven sparingly, showing just 644 miles on the odometer. Lot 138. Sold for $428,500.

    550 BARCHETTA, VIN ZFFZR52B000124070 (2001). Argento Nürburgring with nero leather. No reserve. #92 of 448 Barchettas made. Previously owned by rock legend Rod Stewart. In 2022 a Ferrari dealer performed a complete check-over and service. New tires were installed in July 2022. Multi-piece 18” Speedline wheels, yellow calipers, leather-trimmed roll hoops, carbon fiber seats and interior trim. Air conditioning, Ferrari Becker stereo with a trunk-mounted CD changer. Scuderia shields and Ferrari racing helmets. Tool kit and books with a leather pouch. 8,925 miles. Lot #1415. Sold for $374,000.

 

 

    599 GTB FIORANO, VIN ZFFFC60A280161332 (2008). Red with tan. No reserve. Custom-fitted with a correct OE manual 6-speed gated transmission. Daytona seats, Scuderia shields and interior carbon-fiber trim. Clean Carfax. 16,057 miles. Lot #1428.1. Sold for $209,000.

 


    308 GTS QV, VIN ZFFUA13A1E0051959 (1984). Rosso Corsa with black leather interior. No reserve. It has been maintained and preserved for almost 40 years. OE-correct 308 QV factory wheels with correct Michelin TRX tires. Tools. Recent inspection and cosmetic restoration. Clean Carfax. Lot #1620. Sold for $93,500.

 

 

    328 GTS, VIN ZFFXA20A1G0060073 (1986). Grigio with red leather. No reserve. Recent major service. New clutch, new gaskets, sleeves, braided hose, switches, injector bushings, coolant hoses, brake booster hoses, oil breather hose and cam covers. Factory books. Carfax shows damage report on 07/20/2009: accident reported, vehicle towed. Lot 1026. Sold for $63,800.

 

 

    328 GTS, VIN ZFFXA20A7G0061499 (1986). Red with black Boxer trim and black leather interior. No reserve. This Ferrari underwent a complete rebuild and comes with a factory jack and tool kit. It was recently serviced. Sold on a rebuilt/salvage title. Lot #764.1. Sold for $71,500.

 


    F355 SPIDER, VIN ZFFPR48A8S0103955 (1995). Giallo Fly with black leather interior. No reserve. 6-speed manual. Original books and service records. Equipped with a new clutch and recently had a full inspection and professional detail. Carfax shows manufacturer recall issued on 11/01/2009: fuel distributor. Lot #769.1. Sold for $71,500.

 

 

    360 SPIDER, VIN ZFFYT53A420127298 (2002). Argento Nürburgring with blue leather interior. No reserve. 6-speed manual. Scuderia shields, black calipers, power seats and factory stereo. Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer, AFS system, magnetorheological suspension, suspension lifter and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes with yellow calipers. Scuderia shields, Premier ceramic coating with a Premier seamless full frontal clear bra. Logo colored mats and front radar with ACC, as well as rear radar.
