Above is future participant Daviel Swoboda Moussong staying dry during a wet Cavallino Classic.

Although it did rain there was no shortage of enthusiasm or Ferraris due to the weather. Fortunately the heavy rain held off for a majority of the show.

Once again, John and Alisha Barnes provided a first class event with an incredible display of special Ferraris on the croquet lawn.

Ferrari made four 335 Sport competition cars, S/N 00674, S/N 0676, S/N 0700 and S/N 0764. While one, S/N 0676 was destroyed in period the remaining three were displayed together.

The engine from S/N 0676 was reused in 412 MI, S/N 0744. This car was also there, so all the engines and all the existing chassis in one place.

If you didn’t go, it was an experience that may never be repeated.

I’ll be there next year I hope you will be also.
