Bonhams Paris selected Ferraris.
250 GTE 2+2 SERIES III, S/N 4571 GT (1963). Rosso with nero Connolly leather interior. Estimate €280,000 to €350,000. Completed at Maranello on 30th April 1963. Despatched to Franco Britannic Autos SA and registered on 17th May 1963 to its first owner. Subsequently the car enjoyed several owners in both France and Luxembourg. Accompanying paperwork includes the original guarantee booklet, Massini report, Luxembourg registration papers (cancelled) and Classiche confirming matching numbers. Lot 599. Sold for €322,000.
365 GTC/4, S/N 14545 (1971). Argento Auteuil metallizzato with black leather and gray plaid interior. Estimate €180,000 to €220,000. Left the factory on 29th September 1971, and was delivered to importer Charles Pozzi on 2nd November. In 2002, it was acquired by Thor Johannessen, living near Cahors. The current owner acquired it in 2011. Exhibited in its owner’s private museum, this 365 GTC/4 is largely in good original condition and retains its original engine. The passenger compartment has patina typical of the leather used by Ferrari in the early 1970s. Sold with French registration document, user manual and spare parts catalog. Lot 523. Sold for €230,000.
512 TR, VIN ZFFLA40B000092967 (1992). Rosso corsa with black leather. Estimate €130,000 to €160,000. This 512 TR left the factory on 14th January 1992, and was sold by the Wohlausen dealership in Germany six days later. Its first owner drove the Ferrari for nearly 15,000 kilometers before selling it into Monaco. Subsequently the car was sold in France in 2001, passing through the hands of several French and Belgian collectors before being acquired by its current owner in the mid-2010s. Now displaying 80,000 kilometers. Serviced in January 2023 including timing belts. Original booklets, tool kit and a file of maintenance invoices, equipped with a Tubi Style silencer. Lot 585. Sold for €143,750.
612 SCAGLIETTI, VIN ZFFAY54B000135770 (2004). Grigio Titanio with cuoio interior. Estimate €50,000 to €80,000. No reserve. This Ferrari carries a Swiss nationality plate and a sill plaque stating that it was handbuilt especially for its first owner. Offered from storage, the car will require re-commissioning before further use. The dashboard screen is inoperative therefore mileage in unknown. Offered without any original registration documents. Lot 520. Sold for €57,500.
F40, VIN ZFFGJ34B000077676 (1988). Rosso corsa. Estimate €2.2 million to €2.7 million. The 24th F40 built, early ‘pre-series’ model commenced production on 3rd June 1988 and was completed on 20th September. Pre-catalyst model with non-adjustable suspension. Delivered new by Motor SpA of Modena and the delivery and warranty date was 8th October 1988. By 1997 it resided in the Netherlands, spending seven years in the hands of its first Dutch owner and more than 16 years with its second. Accident free, and the paint is believed to be original. Last serviced on 4th March 2021. Fuel tanks replaced in June 2021 at 30,082 kilometers. Extensive service included new brake discs and pads at the front, new fuel tanks, and re-upholstering the original seats. Complete with tool kit and keys. Lot 565. Sold for €2.2 million.
