    F355 CHALLENGE, VIN ZFFPA41B000101338 (1995). Rosso corsa. Estimate $170,000 to $218,000. First registered on March 2, 1995. One of 109 examples of the F129 AB version intended to compete in the championship set up by Ferrari in 1993 for the 348 Challenge. Used to compete with good results in the Ferrari Challenge for three seasons. Sold in 1997, then a 1998 Season Kit was installed by Pozzi, improving the car’s performance. Sold again to the current owner and used at a round of the GT FIA Championship at Magny Cours in 2000. Current mileage is 18,750 km. Regularly maintained. Wheels repainted and windscreen replaced. Extensive folder with copies of old registration documents, invoices, MOTs and technical manuals. Large supply of spares included. Lot 39. Sold for $198,805.

 

 

 

Gooding & Co. - European Sporting & Historic Collection - Feb. 5, 2021

 

    275 GTB/4, S/N 9389 (1966). Black with green interior.  Estimate $2.4 million to $2.7 million. Displayed at the 1967 Brussels Motor Show. Classiche red book certified. Mechanical overhaul and full interior reupholstery completed in February 2020. Includes copies of factory production record and original Dutch registration documents. Lot 7. Sold for $2.34 million.

 

 

RM Sotheby’s Paris Auction - Feb. 13, 2021

 

    365 GT4/BB, S/N 18261 (1974). Oro Chiaro with beige leather. No reserve. Only three were originally finished in Oro Chiaro. Delivered new to the U.S. in January of 1975 and purchased by J.G. Walker, Jr. of Tyler, Texas, through Luigi Chinetti Motors. In 1983, it was for sale in the Ferrari Market Letter, showing 6,000 miles. In April of 1987, it was offered for sale again in the Ferrari Market Letter, now with 11,000 miles. In 1988, the car was exported to Sweden. The car would remain with that owner for the following twenty-seven years. Offered for sale in 2015, the car was sold to Germany and acquired by the consignor in 2016. Invoices  show timing belts were replaced in 2015, and has been driven 300 km. since. Lot 116. Sold for $327,254.

 

    308 GTS, S/N 28431 (1979). Oro Chiaro with beige leather. Offered without reserve. Delivered new to Italy. Italian registration documents show the car remained in Italy through 2016 with the Bergamini family. Exported to Germany. Granted Classiche certification in 2016. Known history from new. Lot 115. Sold for $127,265.

    348 GT COMPETIZIONE, VIN ZFFUA35B000099107 (1994). Red. Delivered new to Shelton Sports Cars of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. One of four 348 GT Michelotto Competiziones to be delivered to the United States. Special-ordered with a fire-extinguisher system and MOMO racing seats. Shown at Concorso Italiano in 1997. Later acquired by a Texas owner where it remained in a large collection. Sold by RM Sotheby’s to the consignor in 2010. Never raced and only driven in non-competitive track days. Subsequently exported to Germany, the car has continued to be used for non-competitive track days. 3,503 km. In February of 2019, a gearbox rebuild and timing belts were replaced. Eligible for a handful of historic racing events, including Le Mans Classic. Lot 148. Sold for $381,796.

 

    330 P2 Junior, S/N 28. Red. No reserve. Produced in the early 1990s. This example is ready to be used and enjoyed. Powered by a 5.0 hp Honda engine, like every other De La Chapelle Junior car it was built entirely to special order. Finished in Ferrari red with racing roundels donning the number three. Presented in well-preserved condition, even forty years after these cars came to market, this 330 P2 Junior would be the ultimate gift. Lot 108. Sold for $145,445.
